How soon will Bioware fix the bug on Citadel: Hanar Diplomat?

It's well-documented on Bioware's forums that the mission mentioned above (Citadel: Hanar Diplomat) ceases to work if you leave the Citadel while the mission is active.  This is not normal behavior for any other missions, and--in lieu of waiting for a patch--many people are having to resort to save-editors just to get the mission re-activated!  Hardly wise.

Bioware has not yet responded as to whether or not they know about the bug, let alone if/when they will patch it.  I know their focus is multiplayer, but even though this isn't a Crash/Black Screen, it's still a showstopper in the single player campaign.
