lag/stuttering mass effect 2

Hi, I am having a problem with mass effect 2 where whenever I start playing the game it begins lagging and stutter-steping. I know my system is able to run mass effect 2 seeing as I was able to play ...

    I just found this solution from another thread on this forum and for me it works:

    Found this solution for me: i disabled origin-in-game function and now ME2 works properly.

Thank you so much for posting this. Couldnt work out what had changed recently! But the lag was awful. Ive tried uninstalling, reinstalling, deleting saves and this was the answer!
