tried this too, but it did not resolve the issue either.
Well if anything else fails:
- Go here and download the package > unzip.
- Make sure Origin is closed.
- Go into the unzipped package to the "masseffect-binkw32-master\masseffect-binkw32-master\ME2\Release" folder.
- Copy the "binkw23.dll" and the "binkw32.dll" to your ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 2\Binaries" folder, (overwrite)
