Mass Effect 2 retail disc to PC download version (Resolved)

Hello all,

I have a the retail disc version of Mass Effect 2, which was purchased a few years ago. My computer can no longer read any discs and I would like to know if I can obtain the PC Downloadable version of this game for Origin without having to make a second purchase.

I did add Mass Effect 2 to my Origin game library, but am unable to download it.

Also, I contacted EA help chat and never got connected, so I had a customer support rep call me but I am not sure they understood my question. They told me to go back to the store I purchased the game from and exchange it for another. This game was a gift so I am not sure where it was purchased from and could it even be exchanged in such a manner?
I contacted Game Stop (where the ME2 was purchased from), they cannot provide game codes like this without making another purchase.

Edit: I figured this out myself. On a whim I uninstalled ME2 (the version I installed with the actual physical discs), went back into Origin Game Client and right-clicked ME2... low and behold there was an option to DOWNLOAD it. It was a simple solution I should have figured out earlier.
