Mass Effect 3 Online Pass Error

Have you reached out to live support and set up a case with them yet?

I haven't contacted support, I looked for support but I could only find these forums and FAQs. Not been able to resolve it on my own but I've tried all the methods I saw discussed on here. Do I need to get to someone at EA or is it something I can fix?

So, for these errors, technically, a CM can't really do anything with the account since we don't handle them. However, if or when support sends players here or says they cannot resolve it, and there is a case set up, we have to review it to see what was done and handle that situation on our end.

Once that is done, I can look up the case, and try to get someone to look it over and fix but that takes time. It has to be reviewed and escalated, documented, etc. The whole nine yards.

The first step is to have them review the account. When you are on the help site, you follow these steps

• In the search bar, type in "find missing content."
• Click the link to the article How to find your missing EA in-game content
• Scroll to the bottom and click "Contact us."
• In the chat window, proceed through the missing content questions.
• List Mass Effect Andromeda or Mass Effect 3 as the game.
• Type in PC for the platform.
• Once this information is provided, you should see a chat option that connects you with an advisor.

We have tested these steps over and over, so they do work; you just have to be persistent. It is super frustrating when all you want to do is play, but a CM isn't able to support your account as we would like, and we cannot do account verification on the forums, which is the biggest thing that stops me from fixing it here.

I know that is a lot, but I do like to explain the why and not just say hey go do this! type of thing. Let me know if you have trouble with that, or once you get that set up.

I am here to get y'all in-game, so I am trying to find the best way to do that without you having to go back and forth.

I tried to reply to the thread, but saw it was closed now. I have included screenshots of my issue.

My EA ID is: OxfordAvenue

My case number is 240652849. I am using Mass Effect 3 (2012) through the EA app on a windows PC. I have already tried everything that was suggested that I could do locally. In my chat with support, the person I was speaking with said they did not have the technical tools or knowledge they needed to execute the fix. I gave them a link to the thread where you discuss how to fix it.

I’d appreciate any support or guidance you could offer me, thank you in advance.

OxfordAvenue​ Ye so I used the link that the community manager provided and eventually I was able to get through to customer support, I did get it fixed. It seems that if you have the standard edition of the game this will happen and support just upgraded my game to the Digital Deluxe Edition which never required a game pass. Not sure why they weren't able to help you as it seems this is their solution to this issue.

KingLee890​ Thanks for the update on resolving it. It is a real easy fix, honestly. Should only take a few minutes. When players say support didn't help, I have to get a case number and send it over to see why.

Salve a tutti, gioco a mass effect 3 solamente online, a mio parere uno dei migliori coop online mai realizzati, sto provando ad accedere ma mi chiede un pass online per accedere alla funzione multiplayer, cosa mai succesa prima.

Provai tempo fa ad acquistare il gioco anche da steam ma niente da fare, probabilmente avranno fatto qualche casino con i dlc ottenuti in precedenza grazie ad un abbonamento ea play. 

Neanche l'assistenza è riuscita a risolvere la cosa, nonostante i 3 ticket aperti e screen dell'errore inviati.

Grazie a chiunque riesca a darmi una mano e magari risolvere il problema.

Hello EA_Shepard​, my issue is now fixed!

The first support person I talked to a few days ago was not able to help me. I reached out again today, and linked them to this thread. Them upgrading my game version to the Digital Deluxe edition was what fixed it for me. I'm really thankful for your help!

Hello  EA_Shepard​, I'm having the same problem, but I have the Deluxe Edition. No one from support has been able to help me; one of them even told me to contact Steam Support. I'd really appreciate it if you could help me with this.

Want to add on to this, because this whole issue is so [removed].

The fix for me was to resub to Game Pass (which has EA Play baked in). My sub didn't renew and I lost access to this game, that I bought over a decade ago. Ridiculous.

From my POV it was: play game on Sunday, turn of PC, come back Tuesday evening, can't jump onto ME3MP.
