Have you downloaded the multiplayer DLC? They're not part of the main game installation and need to be installed separately from the game's "addons" section in the EA app.

The "Addons" section includes only one option, the "Extended Cut", which is installed. Unfortunately, it has not enabled my access to the Online content.
That's interesting. I have 20 addons in that list, including a bunch of multiplayer packs.
I looked up the issue, and someone in the past has also had the issue of only seeing Extended Cut in their addons (link to thread). Maybe Holger's suggestion in that thread could be helpful for you. I'll ask around to see if someone else has any suggestions.

Unfortunately, the old thread's proposed fix does not work for me — and, indeed, was never confirmed to work for the original thread either 😭
I would be grateful for any further assistance on this very frustrating issue. If there is some way to alert an ME3 Community Manager's attention to this thread, I would also be very appreciative.
