Mass Effect: Andromeda - "You are not allowed to access online features"

Whenever I try to connect online in Mass Effect: Andromeda I see the message "You are not allowed to access online features". I'm able to play other games fine online. I've tried clearing my ea app cache, unlinking and re-linking steam, and changing my dns settings. From what I read on the EA forums this is an issue that only EA support can fix, potentially by removing and re-adding the game to my account. I'd really appreciated any help with this issue, would love to be able to properly play the game I own. Thank you in advance.

    You are on a PC? 
    This problem should not affect your save files.
    The standard save path on PC is "Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Andromeda\Save", did you checked that path? 

    If it is indeed empty and you already started the game being online, something that should have trigger the cloud saves to be synchronized with your local saves, there is unfortunately no way to recover the save files. 

  • EA_Shepard​ Hello, i had this same issue with mass effect andromeda and managed to get it resolved with support but now my save is missing. Is there a way to recover it?

    Hi, 

    I did try both of those things and they did not work. Support seems deeply confused about this (not sure if they are bots or not). I've tried to reply to the tread you linked but replies have been locked.

    Please follow the steps in the OP of this thread.

    If deleting EA License Files and clearing Windows temp files don't help, contact support in the way described in the post. 

    If support is not able to help you tag EA_Shepard in the thread I linked.
