Mass effect andromeda doesn't work on the EA App

    Just wanted to add that it still doesn't launch by default.

    Note: Probably step "2.b" is the only one you will need but I listed everything I did in order just in case.

    Essentially just make the "MassEffectAndromeda" file in your installed location require admin permissions. Then the EA app just gives the statement that the game needs admin permissions and actually launches the game.

    Steps by my chronological order:
    1. From EA app - manage game -> repair

    Seemed to install some extra content.

    2. From EA app -> manage -> view properties -> browse

      2.a. Went 1 folder up, right click "Mass Effect Andromeda" folder -> properties -> Uncheck "Read-only" -> Apply

      2.b. Inside "Mass Effect Andromeda" folder right click "MassEffectAndromeda" file -> properties -> compatibility -> check "Run this program as an administrator" -> Apply

      2.c. Double click the "MassEffectAndromeda" from the folder instead of the desktop.

Do you use any Mods?

Do you have the game on EA app?

Did the game worked before?

    Do you have the game on EA app?   - gamepass actually but yeah on eaapp

    Did the game worked before?   - no but I can play mass effect legendery edition and fifa 23

      Sorry for the late reply, the thread escaped my notifications.

      Please preform a clean boot and test the Game in clean boot mode.

      Make sure your virus scanner and other security software and alos Afterburner and similar software is disabled.

      Make also sure that your GPU & CPU are not overclocked.

      If that don't works:

      Create a new Windows user account  (Administrator) don't use local special characters, use only  Characters from the ASCII table

      • Reboot > Log in to the new user account.
      • Test.

    No error.messages
    No mods
    Try to run from EA app and Steam app, doesn't load or launch
    Game ran perfectly with mods on the Origjn app
