Skyrim needed it a lot more than Mass Effect. It had probably the worst user interface I'd ever experienced in a game until someone made the SkyUI mod.
@Fred_vdp Indeed, modders there have even made multiple Unofficial Mods for the various ES games more so than Bethesda.
Reference: Nexus supports mods for 1,392 games and that's just one modding site.
- @sundance31us I am very familiar with Nexus, man the Omega MOD as well the Galaxy Expansion are just two that I love how they were made if it's noticed that they aren't developers work because they use a lot of recycled animations and dialogue lines but modders overall tend to have more freedom than devs.
