ME1 LE softlock on weapon upgrade screen [XSX]

Marked multiple weapon mods (not all) as junk and trashed into omni-gel. Moved down the list as I was marking, ending with the lowest tier mods. Entire list of items in second slot removed, despite not all being marked or trashed. Tried to re-enumerate list by scrolling up or down (can't remember which direction), but that failed. Description is now 'undefined'. Can no longer change slots, uninstall upgrade, confirm and exit, or use any other means of backing out of the screen, effectively softlocking the game. Only means of interaction is scrolling the description. Returning to Xbox dashboard then back into the game doesn't resolve the issue. Spamming all buttons on the controller doesn't resolve the issue. Praying to my lord and saviour, Garrus Vakarian, doesn't solve the issue. My solution was to close the game and load the last save.
