ME1 LE (Xbox): Liara's Overload ability missing

Hi, What the title says: first game in LE, playing on XSX. In the squad menu, I have Liara's Electronics skill upgraded to its maximum (screenshot here) - but even just the first point should grant ...

No. It's simply a fact. Adept -and Liara-  has no access to Tech abilities. It's odd that the Dev's chose to give Liara Electronics in ME1 in the first place. But that's by the by. However, they balanced it by not allowing her to use Overload.

I'll still just take this as trolling, lol.

She has the ability and has access to omni-tools in the inventory. She should be able to use Electronics and Overload, end of story.
