ME3 PC Needs "Online Pass"

Hi! I am having an issue with Mass Effect 3 (2012) on PC. It is giving me an error when I try to click on the "Multiplayer" button. The error tells me that I need an "Online Pass" to use multiplayer features, but a little research has told me that the PC version of the game never HAD an online pass; only the console versions of the game had it. I have previously been able to play the multiplayer without issue. According to another user on the forums (https://forums.ea.com/discussions/mass-effect-franchise-discussion-en/pc-mass-effect-3-now-requires-online-pass/9240092/replies/9240094), this is an account entitlement issue, and only a support representative can resolve it. I tried contacting support, but I was transferred to another representative and sat in a queue for over an hour while it only got longer (number kept going up, not down). People on Reddit have suggested directly messaging EA Help on X, but I have received no response there. Can someone here help me? Thanks.
