Mouse cursor wont appear in menus

Hello,

forgive me please I should have elaborated to begin with.

Game: Mass Effect Legendary Edition

platform: PC i56600 gtx10606gb ssd

Game location purchased: steam

Issue: game menu of me1 and me2 the mouse cursor is not visible but moves and clicks (i have not tried it in me3)

Mouse cursor is visible in the legendary edition launcher (me1, 2,3 select screen).

Main menus of each game and all sub menus and combat select menus not visible (holding shift in game) but movable and clickable.

the me2 puzzle cursor, to pair up the circuits is visible.

Hi @LeX6432663 Thanks for additional information, can you try to Disable the Origin in-game overlay and any other running overlay and check if this continues?

Hi @EA_Illium I disabled the origin in-game overlay but unfortunately it did not remedy my issue, I still have no appearance of mouse cursor in said menus.

I will look into other running overlays that may exist, I find it quite strange me1 and me2 both having mouse cursor ghosting but nowhere

in google search for example having any related issue.

I don't know if this still applies to the Legendary Edition, but in the original games the mouse cursor would be invisible if you enabled pointer trails in the Windows control panel. Go to the control panel and see if all mouse settings are set to default.

Instructions for Windows 10:

1. Go to settings.
2. Go to devices > Mouse.
3. Click additional mouse options.
4. Go to the 'pointer options' tab.
5. Make sure 'display pointer trails' is disabled.

Hi @Fred_vdp thanks for the advice, I have mouse trails switched off normally, i enabled it and launched me2, same issue,

disabled trails then ran game but no change, issue remains unresolved.
