So I get they wanted us to have a consequence on Eladden for choosing one way or the other but.... Why not let us convert the Flophouse into the base/outpost if we choose to not side with Morda? I realize the Krogan and Morda herself do have a lot of clout and muscle on the planet but I mean... It's somewhat far away plus it could give an alternate that could've had consequences later on. The flophouse is a huge base and like, once you complete the mission to clear it out etc its just sitting there empty.

I don't get why we can't establish second outposts in general. There are a lot of fantastic areas, even areas that should make better locations than the ones the game gives us. Also, why can't we set up our outposts ourselves? They're very blocky and modular, they seem perfect for a Fallout 4 style settlement build, but even more simplified and streamlined with the various modules you already see. All you would need is a bit of work and some sort of beacon to place that designates an area as an outpost or not which keeps enemies from spawning and designate existing structures as outposts. I want to make an outpost in that valley area in the far north on Kadara, where you fight the Kadaran Architect. The moment I saw it I thought it was perfect.

I think it might be their chance to create a second Omega setting, you see.

It feels like even having your Outpost there won't underline your neutrality or independence from Sloane's tributary fees, given they explain that she condones your Outpost as long as she gets her share. That's why I think they 'forgot' to make you able to land on either places. Or they were simply noobs and forgot that too. Get in line. ^_^

Vetra will mention that the Flophouse was one of the initiatives failed mining tries. I would think the Initiative would reclaim it after you do the vault. I would think they would also reclaim site 1 & 2 on Eos. I still waiting to find out who is above site 2. There are vehicles packed tightly against a largish building. I think Ryder says looks like someone is living there when you start to approach the area. Anyone not reset the vault on Elaaden just because they didn't get to setup a colony?

Yeah, I discussed about that a couple of days ago. It feels like even having your Outpost there won't underline your neutrality or independence from Sloane's tributary fees, given they explain that she condones your Outpost as long as she gets her share. The one downside of establishing an outpost on a desert world with hostile krogan, though?

Hostile krogan.

That right there would pretty much kill the viability of any secondary outpost site.

Assuming of course they'd be _that_ pissed or hostile. The outlaws are allowed to remain so long as they aren't attacking the new tuchunka. And I don't actually know what happens when you choose to not give it to her? Does she banish you from the area? Become all hostile already? Plus that possible outcome in the future would be a risk you'd take imo.

That's one of the few hiatuses we find in the game, choices that might have some impact. I only got one full playthrough, so I'm still going about these other matters. I was completely friendly and diplomatic back then, so I might have gotten the 'best' ending.

Now I just want to see the world burn: but not before a proper patch. :eahigh_file:

Generally Speaking, this is not just Eladeen, but also EOS.

I am kind of disappointed that we don't really see the planets "grow" after colonization. For instance on EOS I don't understand why we cannot reclaim the two lost outposts....... There is a resource shortage after all, right?

And for Eladeen and EOS (vast planets) some kind of settelment building element would be great, so you can actually decide a bit what purpose an outpost serves and what kind of structures and maybe even their position, is.

Yeah I don't get why they show us the changes when Meridian is activated but they don't appear in the game. Adding vegetation should be plausible for this engine once you've reached that point.
