Having the exact same issue. Checked all the same settings. Nothing seems to be working.

I set Origin In Game to work with all games, which made no difference, Mass Effect 3 isn't set to not use the overlay in its own settings.
I am using all of the DLC except the Extended Cut.
Really not sure what to do next.
