I've gotten far enough into the game where I am now getting the 5 row x 5 column glyph puzzles. I personally feel that these are EVEN WORSE than all of the dang decription you had to do in ME3. When I play a video game, I don't want mental stress. I play video games to relieve stress, not to induce it. I've been to two worlds that I have had to leave, out of frustration, because the "stoopid" puzzles were giving me a migraine. Yes I tried a few times... but on the 5x5 glyph puzzles, not only can you not have same glyphs in a row or column, they also cannot have a repeating glyph in the separate sections... it's excrement! It blows! It's worse than all the fricken decripting you had to do in ME3 combined, data pads, safes, doors, etc.

I played all the other mass effect games and this is the only one im seriously thinking about quitting. i stress enough at work. i DO NOT WANT to sit around for hours trying to figure out how to sodoku this *. i want to play a game, even figure out some stuff but there is no freaking way that i want to pay money to do these puzzles. ive spent over an hour staring at this screen trying to figure out this *. right now im sitting at "this game is not playable" for me.

I enjoy the puzzles. The difficult level from easy to mildly challenging.

They Glyph puzzles are (for me at least) enjoyable, just finished my first playthrough and well the puzzles are the only thing in the game that made me think. The story in all honosty was to predictable, no plot twists, and to many loose ends which are also easy to explain. No spoilers here.... but i wish there was a bit more depth to the story and more planets to physically explore.

While I don't hate the puzzles, I am bad at themI've resorted to selling minerals that I have thousands of, and buying the remnant decryption keys from the merchant on Aya so I can just bypass the puzzles with ease

There are already Walkthroughs up with solutions to the puzzles. I really hate puzzles!

Yup, hate 'em. If I wanted to play with Sudoku puzzles, I'd pick up a book of them while standing in the checkout line of my grocery store.:P Thank God for the people who make walk-through videos.

(Even your character seems to hate them. Start one, then exit out of it. Your character will say things like "Ugh, can't I just blast my way into this?")

there are no guides for the one im stuck on, in fact its bugged I think, also many of the puzzles cant use by pass methods.

I have the 5x5 that only has 5 red and they are 3 at top 2 at bottom and a cross in the middle highlighted so its even worse.

EDIT; I get delays aplenty with all the lame repeatable space travel cut scences ECT.

I personally HATE puzzles, if i enjoyed them i would have loads of puzzle books, instead of playing a RPG.

I do like the fact that you have the option of bypassing it, but the sad thing is, the item you need to use to bypass it....is highly rare to find and i have gotten a decent way into it and i have only ever found 1 of them.

So far, all the puzzles i have had to do, i just get my sister to do it for me, she is good at them, i takes me 30mins to do a puzzle and it took her 2mins to do the same puzzle.....yeah...puzzles are not my thing.

I suggest to Bioware, either make it possible to craft the bypass item for a realistic cost or just make it cost credits to bypass, cause right now, i am on the verge of just uninstalling this game because of the blasted puzzles.

you can get them from high lvl droid mobs containers in near alien ruiens and on planet aya at the gen merchant for 3k each give or take , but not all of them are by passable :{.
