Your solution works perfectly. I've upgraded the M3 Predator to level X. Thank you so much.
Excellent. 🙂 You're welcome!
One thing, it is likely that a future patch, if the problem is not fixed with it, will reset the "Coalesced.bin" to its original state.
The gun itself should not reset to level 7 by that. (In your current playthrough.)
But because a patch for other problems might very well include a editing of the "Coalesced.bin" I would not advise to just keep a copy of the edited file.
It is better to add the fix again to a updated "Coalesced.bin" should that happen.
- @holger1405 Hi, any idea where I can find other DLC gun, like N7 Piranha, Reegar Carbine or Acolyte heavy pistol in the table?
The DLC weapons are stored in the DLCs own bin files.
The Acolyte for example is stored in the "Default_DLC_CON_GUN02.bin" under (...Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME3\BioGame\DLC\DLC_CON_GUN02\CookedPCConsole")
The path to the gun is the same as in the "Coalesced.bin"
- bioui.ini > sfxgamecontent > sfxguidata > store > weaponupgrades > storeitemarray = (multiple)
But be careful, this DLC weapons differ in name in the "storeitemarray = (multiple)" column.
The Acolyte for example is "Pistol_Asari_GUN02"
So you must find out how the weapons name inside the "Default_DLC_CON_GUN02.bin" (or related) file is.
I think the "N7 Piranha" is the "N7Shotgun", but I am not sure.
The "Reegar Carbine" should be in "DLC_CON_GUN01"
OP mentioned that he started a new game. 🤔

And what about console players? I know you are also a player but this is irritating, if Bioware isn't gonna add the multiplayer portion then why leave these type of trophies or at the least rework them like they did with a lot on ME1?
I have no idea what any of this has to do with this thread?
OP asked if there is a way to circumvent the Bug and I showed it to himI have no idea what Bioware thinks or plans or why they did not fixed this in the first place and there is nothing that I can do for console players.
If you have a problem with that try to contact Bioware, this is a player help players board and there are no Bioware people here.

@holger1405. Except this isn't a bug, it's how the game was initially programed to in the regular releases:

And how they left it when remastering the third game, no one is getting credit transfer from ME2 to ME3 because of plot reasons but you can transfer funds from ME3 to ME3 NG+ because time travel isn't anti plot progression:

No, it is a Bug.
OP specifically mentioned that he started a second playthrough.Other than all other weapons the predator is not automatically updated if you receive it by importing a Mass Effect 3 save and the missing levels can't be obtained in any other way as the way I described in this thread.

Everything else, again, has nothing to do with this thread and is a design choice by Bioware. A choice I have not the slightest problems with.
- draconiam5 years agoSeasoned Ace@holger1405 Ok, but it's still a dumb decision by Bioware locking 5 upgrade levels from player gear forcing them to make a new career.
You can buy these guns after The Palaven mission, the guns are available to buy at the Citadel stores

This worked. Thanks. Now if someone would make a similar mod for the M7 Lancer, ME3: LE.
The M7 Lancer in ME3 is introduced in the Citadel DLC, so you should find it in "DLC_EXP_Pack003"
