Relase Date check failed

Hello I was installing Mass Effect 3 on my PC. I am running Windows 7.  When I go to launch the game I get this message

Release date Failed check from Origin..

I have no clue why?? I bought the game on e-bay so i assumed it was all ready played and could that have a problem?

    @dougan760 

    You may just need to right click the game in Origin and then choose Repair.

    I'm trying to play my old Alice:Madness Returns game on a new computer and continue to get this release date fail error. There is no option to repair when I right click the game in Origin. Please help.
