@EA_Atic I found multiple forum posts on this but figured following up here would be as good as any.
Closing background programs helped but didn't resolve the issue. Just much better than before.
At first, it was almost every other voice line getting cut off in ME2 and every 3rd-4th voice scene in ME1, now it is only 1-2 seconds worth and maybe only 1x per conversation after taking the above steps.
A Reddit forum did say RTX voice may be a contributing factor so that was one of the many programs I disabled. The fact disabling programs helps but doesn't resolve issues should hopefully help the tech team figure this out.
Last note, I have been on SSD the whole time and I am not running surround sound. I noticed that is something that gets asked a lot when troubleshooting this.
Good luck and thanks for looking into this!
I have the original Mass Effect series and had no issue with voice syncing to visuals. With the MEL, the voice will delay about 1-2seconds in several cases. I hope EU fixes the issue soon.
maybe FPS related problem? Like those games were pretty much locked to some max fps. Now its unlocked so things went all wack? Idk, I have yet to finish first game.
I too have the same problem at Mass effect 1. It's not happening all the time, but just enough to make it very very annoying and breaks the immersion
Just started ME2 in my LE journey and I must know... is anybody else experiencing issues with the audio outpacing the visuals in the pre-rendered cutscenes? Most notably in the intro where the Collectors attack the Normandy. The audio starts out synced, but will quickly outpace the visuals. I don't see any obvious stuttering, either. Is it a video card issue?
Never had this issue with the OG game. It's rather jarring and immersion-breaking. I'm playing the PC version.Try to repair the game.
(Origin > Game Library > right click MELE > Repair)
(Steam > Game Library > right click at MELE > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)If that don't helps, did you play with v-sync enabled? If not try.
Repair didn't work and v-sync was enabled.
☹️Than it would be best to anwser @EA_Atic's question about surround setup and audio hardware.
