[Steam] Mass Effect 3 Product Key Error

(dd.mm.yy hh:mm)&nbsp;2024.11.6.Summarize your bug&nbsp;I bought another copy of ME3 on Steam platform on November 6 and I tried to run it, but it sad product key error! I have already own the game with Origin version since 2012, played around 200 hours with it. At the beginning I thought it might be something went wrong with Steam, so I individually downloaded the game under EA app and run it, but the same error message appeared. I have tried all the way I can find but I failed, including deleting Lincese Folder, deleting windows Temp files, re-downloading the game...... And I have even tried bought EA Play for one month. Maybe you could check the online database of my account or something like that?How often does the bug occur?&nbsp;Every time (100%) on both Steam and EA appSteps: How can we find the bug ourselves?&nbsp;I dont know, check the logs maybe.What happens when the bug occurs?&nbsp;Can't lunch the game (always the same sympthoms)What do you expect to see?&nbsp;Run the game ‌

Hi, the images are attatched. It alwasy says my computer is offline after I clicking "Enter product key", but obviously my PC is online.&nbsp;@EA_Shepard&nbsp;

@JIMAsang&nbsp;Thank you. Those errors typically indicate only a few reasons.&nbsp;

You are logging into an account that doesn't own the game
There is a mismatch in syncing the Steam and EA app
Your EA account is linked to a different Steam account
Your PC registry is trying to load a different download with a different key

If you purchased the game on Steam, you would be able to see that key in your Steam library.

To find a game key in Steam, you can:

Select the game from your Steam Library
Right-click the game
Select Manage
Select CD keys

Normally if this does not work, you need to contact Steam and get it from them. What I would suggest first is logging into EA.com and under the connections tab verify the Steam account you are on is linked to the right EA account.

Next, if it is, uninstall the game and delete all files and folders relating to the game. This also includes doing a registry clean up.

Once this is all verified, let me know!
