VAULTS | Their real purpose. Your thoughts?
I was mulling over this idea – surely, most likely wasting my time with it – of the purpose of a Vault.

i think that the jardaan added a lot of extra planetary systems to the cluster, turning it into a super cluster, they added the vaults later for bioseeding &, or environmental maintenance. the architects are there to oversee vault operation.
now, as to the turian golden-world, i think it's more likely that the scourge did crack the planet and the architect placed there retooled the vault for fuel production or sam did.
i also think the remnant are older than 300-400 years (the date sam estimated for the creation of the remnant buildings), i think that's just when they started building on their newest colony worlds. mainly the wolds the initiative targeted for settlement. also keep in mind these are just the systems we have access to, i bet there were far more habitable worlds visible before the scourge hit the cluster, though the scourge destroyed many planets in it's initial detonation or whatever. just how many of those planets were golden, or even populated i wonder?
