What's even worse? You can't see those windows from the outside. Or they don't match anything on the outside as windows. Most notably on your bedroom and the meeting room.

It's because they aren't windows. They're projection screens. You can see the hexagonal design when looking at them from an angle, the colony buildings on planets function the same way.

Those are windows if you listen to the tempest banter vetra and i think it was cora talk about this in regards to the tempest's lack of weapons

Also if you talk to Kallo (enough times) he'll talk about the time Tempest was build. How they tested the said windows are sturdy enough involving three drunk Krogan...
Projected pr actually transparent not withstanding, a structural weakpoint still.

I think they're just echoing back to Legion and Geth Dreadnoughts n the first series. The Kett have them firing from interior bays - talk about a poorly designed armament system. Who needs pillboxes in space?
