Game Consistently Crashing on Save for MySims Switch

Recently, my game has started crashing whenever I try to save any progress on MySims. This problem initially only occurred occasionally, but it has happened more and more often until now where it will simply not let me complete a task and save that progress. This includes something as small as completing a task for a resident or moving a new one in.

I've tried every suggestion I could find online:

• restarted my switch completely
• made sure my switch was up to date on the latest software version
• made sure the game was up to date on the latest software version
• deleted my cache
• checked for corrupted save data
• deleted and redownloaded the software
• checked space on the microSD card
• moved the game data to system memory, etc. 

Nothing has worked. The game is now pretty much unplayable as any progress cannot be saved.

I'm also contacting Nintendo support, but wondering if something can be done by EA / the community here. I love this game, and hate to see that it's so buggy.

Please help!
