My Sims Cant pass 5 stars

I was playing my sims and I ran into an issue with my town. Recently I’ve been stuck on a loading screen anytime my game is about to progress to 5 stars. I’ve waited for a long time and nothing has happened. Is there any fix anyone knows of? I’d really like to continue playing.
