After downloading new update, game doesn't work past title screen

Is anyone else stuck on the loading screen of the game (when Embiid is dunking on Gobert and Drummond)?  I've pressed every button, reset the game/console and tried to wait it out.  I don't know what to do other than delete it and load it again, but the game was working fine last night and I unlocked some stuff.  Is there a way to fix this or is EA working on the glitch?

Im on xbox 1  an the same thing

It was fine since day one, today It downloaded a new Patch....

now the game crashes right before tip off.

I can't even get to the "press start button" screen after this update.  Screen just goes black with music in the backround right after you see the team logos screen...the hell

Can you guys please just restart your console and retry.

Ive restarted my console a few times,. Didn't solve problem . I'm re- installing the game to see if that helps...I'll repost results ...  ImI'using an xbox one 

It works now, 

I had to delete my game save.....

then restart the game all over again

now it works fine.
