Basket nets disappear in Elevate challenges since update on 8/19

Summarize your bug Since the new update, the nets on the basket rim disappear when playing elevate challenges a second time by pressing the PLAY AGAIN button. any subsequent play again will be missing the nets as well.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What happens when the bug occurs? The nets disappear and when the ball hits the rim it behaves as if the net is missing.
What do you expect to see? I expected to see nets on the rim
I went on a binge and played the elevate challenge (2/4) about 40 times.
the first 15 or so times i played by pressing the play again button.
The challenge that shows up after pressing the button has the nets on the rim missing. Visually they look like very short nets, but the ball behavior is as if the net is missing altogether.
Shooting the ball, when the ball goes through the rim (even though most times it looks more like an airball) once it goes through it behaves exactly as a ball does if the net was missing (deflections where you chase the ball all over the court).
the next 20+ times i played again, i did it in groups of two.
played once, completed challenge, pressed play again, played challenge and then exit to daily beats window and repeat.
On the first turn the nets will show up as intended, if you repeat the challenge with play again button the nets go missing.
this weird behavior also might have affected the tokens i received.
in almost 40 attempts i received a total of 3 elite tokens.
all elite tokens awarded where from the first time attempt. any token awarded from the play again challenges, all exclusively awarded gold elevate tokens.
In 40 elevate packs, I finished with 3 elite tokens and 77 gold

Update:: Since then i probably had another 30 repeat attempts.
So in about 50 repeat attempts since the update, i have received a total of 1 Elite Token.
The reward rate seems fine for first try attempts.

This is a very low success ratio given past experience of about 20-25%
I was only awarded elite tokens on first try attempts and not on repeat.
Update : Upon a new large sample it seems that token rewards in seconds attempts is fine.

This only started occurring since the update on 8/19.
So far i can replicate this behavior with 100% rate.
Gameplay wise it becomes very annoying having to chase the ball towards the other side of the court, or many times that you can't tell if the ball went in or it was an airball.
