Now coming to your query. Okay, I'm being very honest with you. Every person that I know that plays this game doesn't like the gameplay. The news is everywhere. I can't appropriately condemn the situation to the fullest but, yes even I'm disappointed. Everyone is in fact. So instead explaining to you why gameplay is so bad or when it would change, I'd like to tell you how to be a part of the change.
Firstly, i suppose EA has recently become aware of the huge negative review of the gameplay. So they are conducting surveys, you might receive a popup to fill a survey in the game, please fill it appropriately for the team to evaluate and act upon. Secondly, voice your opinion on twitter by tagging them, also, they have put up a post asking for feedback, you may wanna comment on it too. Thirdly, go to the first link provided of general discussions, and write an elaborate post mentioning your problems with the gameplay. I'm sure you'll gather a lot of support on such a post. Also add any suggestions you might be having in your head to make the game better. With more response on the post, the team would be sooner to respond to problems.
