A pro driver's ranked Speedlists thread

Welcome,welcome fellow Nfs gamers!!

The purpose of this thread is to gather all drivers that are (or were) consintently playing Ranked Speedlists in order to have fun or get their rank up, share pro racing tips, ideas for racing lines

in specific online tracks, car or parts suggestions and the list goes on..

Another goal of this is to promote and encourage the best clean online drivers out there and give them credit.

Of course they might be some that do not want to share infos about their winning style and thats totally understandable but i think we can all share impressions or general suggestions.

Starting with me, im TheRoadRunner41, currently Rank 7 pushing for 8, playing 3-4 times a week for about 2 hours on Ranked, my most used race car is the Pagani and i race clean every time, possible hits are made only by mistake.

Thats only a bit but depending on how this thead goes on from now on, ill share more.

I'll post a shutout here, a guy named AirHoliday, Rank 6, is clean and competitive every time in his white 918 Spyder. Fair play mate

So, have fun people and share!

Currently rank 14, almost 15. (42 points to go), playing ranked 4-5 times a week for 4-6 hours at a time.
I use the Runner beetle, Mustang 65 and Huracan.

My favorite online event is Soledad Pilgrimage, where I tend to decimate all competition 🙂

Me and 2 other players are pushing for rank 16 and hope to get there before August.
Shoutout to those here, AwokexViper and TackFunks, also rank 14.

I can't really share much regarding racing styles and such, but got a good tip for anyone struggling to get past rank 8 due to players quitting every time they lose n such.

Play ranked with people you know won't quit the lobby, if you for example have friends close to your rank, play ranked with them. It takes some luck getting into the lobbies with them though. Main tip to do that is to queue up at the exact same time and it mostly works, then race like normal against them, so no boosting *.
This tip is mainly just to help matchmaking and to ease it up so you won't get players who can't take a loss. If you play a few lobbies like this, you will most likely have gotten past rank 8 within a week at most, maybe even just 2-3 days depending on how much you play.

Me and the 2 others have been using this method for a few months now, since rank 10 in fact, and it works brilliantly. We never "let" each other win and we never quit lobbies, even if someone else may beat us sometimes, hell, we even finish 8th sometimes due to accidents in drifts xD.

Another thing, I can share how the point system works.

The fewer players in the lobby, the more points you get.

    For example:

If it's a full lobby, you may earn 2-3 points per win at rank 8.

If 2 players quit, suddenly you earn 3-4 points per win.

If 4 players quit, suddenly you earn like 5-6 points.

And if it's just you and another rank 8, you may get 12-20 points for 1 win.

However, it also works the same if you lose, so you lose more points the fewer players there are.

  • i see you Unholy, i guess thats the only way to rank up and interesting facts
about the point system, i knew a bit but did not really organized it like you did. Good post and tidy work.
btw forgot to mention im on PC.
Now ill focus on some things i learned so far from the Race Spec races in Ranked:
    - a top 3 finish is determined through: 1.Very fast Start 2.Keeping urself in slipstream distance and 3.No mistakes
-Tracks with turns: Acceleration and mid-Downforce are kings
-Tracks with long straights:Top speed and max-Downforce are kings
-To avoid: jumps, grass or gravel, non linear shortcuts, sudden direction changes, the last 4-5 guys, deep drifting angles.
-Tuning: mid-Brakes ( at least), mid-Nitrous( at least ),mid-Top Speed ( at least), full-Accel, no Jump.
-you'll need a top speed of 230 to 240 mph to have a chance
-use the up and under racing line when turning
