None of this is solved. I have the issue. I finally bought the game hoping to enjoy it, but I cant even get past the starting screen. "Press space bar to continue" or "Press L to go back to Windows" doesnt work. I have to ctrl alt delete out of the game. Clean boot doesnt help and the link you posted is a completely different problem. Something has to be done. Im on Windows 7.

DICE TeamI've responded to you in another thread. It seems that your system did not meet the minimum requirements to run the game.
Deleting NFS folder in My Documents worked for me! Thanks for tip.
I guess there was probelm with config files, that is why game didn't start properly
