Same here.
Little intresting information. I tried to downgrade my Windows 10 64-bit to Windows 7 64-bit. It hellped a litte bit. DirectX Errors now happens only once a 1-2 hours insted of every 15-30 during riding. I finally managed to finish campaign. But it is keep crashing from garage (more specific - from vinyl's customization) every 10-15 minutes without giving comfortable opportunity to customize my cars. It forces me to perform saving my job for every 5 minutes.
well.... i have other but similar problem and it happens in the secound loading screen when im trying to launch the game. (AMD Card)

Same problem here. Brandnew computer. Tried installing the drivers but no success. :-( I think EA should do a bugfix.
Guys I agree that this is definitely a game-related problem, however make sure you are performing CLEAN driver installations. I risked updating to the latest Nvidia drivers, and so far I've had no problems with the error coming back. Don't just do an express installation though... select "clean install" and have the driver package install everything fresh without preserving any settings. That's the only way you can eliminate the possibility of your driver package causing an issue.
Secondly, I still see some confusion about what I previously stated, or at least it seems there is some confusion. I am running Windows 10 64bit, but I do NOT have the creator's update. I am on build 1604. It seems the creator's update is causing several game related issues (other games besides Payback) so the newest Windows build may partially be to blame.
yeye... but what about AMD cards ? I have the same problem.
Any fix yet? Also, have the same error with an AMD hd6900 GPU.
- Same issue here. Plus my card does auto overclock (boosting) on it's own and it';s impossible to turn off :D.
Make a patch or a lot of people will start going for refounds. AAA title, but broken. Great. I fixed the CTD on FH3 by forcing Vsync, but NFS Payback is... Different.Same DX issue here launched the game for the first time i got black screen after the movie had to hard reset the predator pinhole second launch i got the DX error tried all solutions the game is set to run on the GTX in the nvidia 3d settings installed DX from the game folder and repaired the redist and still no go ☹️
