Yes I fully support the idea of just keeping things more simple and not messing with the drift package.
NFS Heat gave us control of our cars but it messed up the whole drift function of the game.
It works great for races but not drift.
Also, I'm still having a difficulty with cops even at level up on parts and performance.

@BLVD69 Such problem is caused by overfix of the not favorable B2D handling,they try to go grip style like BB games(hence the BB Ultramix core) but still kept the drift based on Criterion/Ghost B2D style because the game engine remain the same and Ghost isn't very capable of innovation
The video was hilarious how and it made think of how unrealistic this game has been for years.
The crash factor is funny to me.
Hit signs, cars trucks and the car just keeps on smiling and moving forward.
Then the cops come out to join the drift event and stink it up with their corvettes....LOL
Overall based on your video it looks like your car is working extra hard to slide around the track.
Reminds me of winters in the north where the roads glaze up and
the wheels just lose control and cars decides to have a mind of its own.
The Drift set up in this game has been a nightmare for many people, including myself.
I have been trying out everyone's shared ideas.
So far its slowly improving but it needs more work.

Videos that people have been posting only seem to validate just how weak the new Drift is VS old school.
If Ghost Studios could stop trying to mess up the good points of this franchise they would maybe one day have a complete game day one!

- @BLVD69 It is because piece of junk Ghost try to please the BlackBox fans who stated Criterion ruined NFS with B2D and HP2010.Hence why Ghost is keen on this new handling style and make a big fuss about it.Criterion did it well in both HP2010/MW2012 because the map suited B2D very well(just like previous Burnout games)The problem is Ghost is a totally useless dev with no skill in racing games and no respect to NFS history.So they chose to please BB Ricer fans and failed badly

Now Ghost studios should watch that video and patch our game to play like that in Drift!
