Follow the law mission not working

Ive just gotten to the ‘follow the law’ mission and i keep failing for absolutely no reason. I tried stopping at the yellow caution light where ana says to stop here. I do and once the cop tosses the...

    @julian_bo22 Quit the mission.
    Restart again from the point where the cop starts coming.

    Follow as normal

what containers are you talking about? The one where it tells you to park or the one farther up?

The one where it tells you to park and you wait for the cop to toss the other one the keys. I passed it but it took a lot of restarting and going to the exact same area loads of times before it decided to randomly work. Fyi i didnt do anything much different from the previous times which leads me to believe it was a game/software/network issue
