@Bowbaggins , Rivals wasn't optimized too well for PC. On top of that, the Frostbite engine doesn't have the greatest physics. Have you tried running the x86 version? You can find an option in the game properties tab in the Origin client. There is also a x86 launcher in the game directory folder on your hard drive. Could be one on your desktop as well. Also try turning your game settings down all the way and work up to find the best set up for it to run better. I get 30 fps on my end, but it has it's "ups and downs". FPS loss here and there. Hope you can get it sorted out and running better. It is worth getting and playing. Just mess with the game settings, etc. Some issues you'll just have to deal with in it. Until something could/can be done about it.
@Straatford87 , speaking of dxdiag's, I've added mine here as well. Can you or someone look over it and let me know what I can do to make my system run top notch? I can run Mad max on Steam at 60 fps. Which like this game and others, I seem to get 1 to 2 or more second hiccups/freezes/fps lag spikes, etc. 60 fps or more on Mad Max, 40+ or more on GTA V, over 70 fps on Rebel Galaxy. Yet on Rivals, I can't get over 30 fps and it's constant fps spikes, etc every 20 sec's or so. I apparently have something running in the background causing this. I'm just not sure what it might be. As far as Rivals goes, yes, there is an optimization issue with it. You can see how bad it is on lower end systems. Tom, send a message to the Ghost team, tell a few of them to set up a couple systems. 1 system at/just above the minimum specs for Rivals, and another one just below/at the recommended specs for the game. Set up temporary Origin accounts, download Rivals through Origin, and play the game. A patch needs to be made to fix the issues they will see. Static in game music, constant physics issues, fps spikes/lag, etc. I should be able to run this game no problem at 60 or more fps. I tried using the gametime command in the properties for 60 fps, and it ran, but fps spikes worse that way. Any feedback on my dxdiag would be welcomed. thanks Tom.
