On the settings menu, HDR is either on Auto or Off...if on Auto, in fullscreen mode, the colors are purple, green, blues, etc.... terrible....if switched off, it's normal non HDR. Had anyone else experienced this? Yes my windows 10 is set to HDR gaming and Nvidia to 4:2:2 10 bit

I'm having issues with it as well. During the day sometimes ABSL goes crazy on my LG C8 and the brightness is all over the place. I also get some artifacting (white flickering spots at the top of the screen) during darker scenes or in the menu. When I launch the game and the GeForce Experience pop-up shows up it looks really weird and if I try to press Alt+Z to open the overlay the screen simply goes dark. If I go borderless the screen goes dark again.I've tried with about 5 different HDMI cables and nothing changed. I wiped my drivers with DDU and installed the latest ones released today by Nvidia, no luck. I've even installed ME: Andromeda to check if maybe it's my TV that's acting up but no, Dolby Vision works just fine on that one (bear in mind it's the same engine), so I don't really know what's up with the implementation in Heat, but it really makes me not want to play it as much as I would otherwise.

This is on LG 49' Nanocell TV 4k (Dolby Vision)*Got it to work in full screen mode in HDR but will get black screen after exiting the game. Turning off HDR in settings will let you run the game window mode or full screen mode no more black screen of death.* First you will need to Right Click on you're desktop.(https://imgur.com/t4p2C60)- Display settings- Play HDR games and apps (ON)(https://imgur.com/3iMkO7u)- Advanced scaling settings- Let Windows try to fix apps so they're not blurry. (OFF)(https://imgur.com/3iMkO7u) This part you will need for follow to the TPull open a folder or another WINDOW could be anything (This will prevent the game for full screening or going into Dolby Vision mode.) Launch the game and CLICK and HOLD the window or folder that you have open. You will see Need for speed launch in you're left corner of your screen. When your still holding the window you will see the intro screen to need for speed. Now you can click on the game. You should beable to see now without a black screen. (ALT + Enter) if you can't see. Wouldn't let me see in window mode but in full screen it did. I dont how what you're settings are but ALT+Enter will let you see again.- After all that go into settings and turn off HDR!(https://imgur.com/mNSHGHn) Now you should be all set. Until they fix the HDR you'll have to keep it off. HDR is broken lol, I can't get it to work with it no matter what I've done. Black Screen. EA needs to fix it. (EA go buy a 4k tv and test your game. Dolby vision doesn't work)

@DukeinatorI am currently having the same issue with the latest game ready drivers.9900ks2080 TiLG C9EDIT: I found a temporary fix on my own.1. Disable deep color mode on the TV2. Locate file PROFILEOPTIONS_profile in C:\Users\YOUR-NAME\Documents\Need for Speed Heat\settings3. Open the file and change GstRender.HDRMode 1 to 0

Does your TV/display have Dolby Vision?

Check if you can turn that off in the TVs settings.

@EA_Barry I do have Dolby Vision but it's not an option I can turn off. I've read my TV activates Dolby Vision 1st if both HDR 10 and Dolby Vision are avail.

In Nvidia Control Panel go to "Change Resolution" and set to "Use default colors". My game also acts up if I'm not using the default options.

The game is currently unplayable on my 1080Ti/LG C8 OLED display with HDR on. I can hear the menu music in the background and "Dolby Vision" pops up on my TV but it never gives a display signal. I'm running NVIDIAs latest driver and the game works fine on my non-HDR monitor. Please look into this.. very embarassing for EA games tbh. These exact Dolby Vision issues keep popping up when your games launch. Madden, Anthem etc. If you're ready to take my money and launch a product you should have better QA.

I'm not using a TV. This is on a 32" Samsung QLED monitor. No other titles I have do this. Only EA titles. What I see is like MPEG compression artifacts. It's just awful to see on high res devices. My LG C9 does it too when I decide to hook my PC up to it. Just sucks. I hope that Fallen Order doesn't have this problem. I'll be devastated if that one has crappy HDR implementation.
