i bought need for speed undercover a few yrs back brand new and i just recently tried installing it again now its saying i basically have to buy another code cause only a limited number of machines can be licenced by a single purchase, i shouldnt have to buy anything, the game is legit and not a copy, how can this be fixed?

You can try to de-authorize one of the machines. I think you have reach the activation limit.
