@ZeroMcDol Viper is indeed a global car.Same as Supra(MK1-4).The only official JDM are Japanese cars automaker wont sell in non-local market.The Supra example you stated is a J-Spec.Even non-Japanese automaker can put out J-Spec cars like Audi or Citroen.So J-Spec works better for most of cars sold in Japanese market,local brand or not.Also Viper was sold as Chrysler SRT-10 in UK(because UK doesn't have Dodge) so it's not American Domestic even without Viper name in other markets.

- @ZeroMcDol The link use USDM term for US-Spec.Ironically this article also use US-SPEC not USDM for the Supra in US market.But JDM for J-Spec.Which clearly means the JDM should be changed to J-SPEC since we can agree that Supra is not a US car,so clearly not a USDM.As such JDM is a misuse of the term.So J-Spec is still more suitable than JDM for A80 Supra mentioned in article.
