Hey guys,
There is something I would like you to try to see if we can get you past this problem. FIrst exit Origin and make sure that the process has completely finished. Right click on your Origin desktop icon or origin.exe and select Properties. Click the Compatibility tab. Uncheck the box marked "Run the program in compatibility mode for:".
Also verify that "Run this program as an administrator" is unchecked. There is no need to elevate Origin's permissions. That is handled automatically by the program.
Once you have done this please start up Origin and try to run the game again.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks.
RIck.
My friends are playing it on Windows 8. No game is yet supported on Windows 8 (officially). All my other games run absolutely fine. I ask @easupport if BF3 is supported by Win8. They said NO. But, I am playing it. EA Support guy had no answer when I told him that BF3 is running fine.

After getting a free game, becasue of SimCity, I downloaded NFS MW 2012.
It crashes to desktop all the time, mostly when driving high speed, or accelerating, or loading for a race.
Very weird, because the cracked version NEVER crashed... (Same system)
I tried everything, clean boot, admin rights or not, updated drivers, UAC on/off, Origin ingame off, nothing worked, still CRASHING! ☹️

Agreed. This is the main problem I am still suffering.

I played it for a while (about 16 hours into it or so) and then suddenly started getting the same error mentioned, I redownloaded 3 times (busting my download limit) and now after synching with the cloud it crashes right away. I have cleared the temp cache file, closed all apps, Origin is already not set to run in compatibility mode nor was it given admin rights. Another big disappointment from EA,
