NFS Heat Breaks Xbox One Controller on PC

On character select when scrolling through to the 2nd from the left my Xbox One controller plugged in by USB stops working. Killing the game, disabling and re-enabling the controller in device manager makes the controller work again sometimes but it also sometimes needs a full reboot. Then as soon as I relaunch the game and scroll to that same character it dies again. Super weird bug.

No issues when hovering over other characters nor in any other games.

Anyone else get this issue?

    Hey, make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date. 
     
    You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Heat and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.
     
    Worth to reinstall the GPU drivers for your PC.

    @harderthanfire It happened to me too, I googled a little bit and found out that deadzones are messed up. Right after you start the game, go to settings (using your gamepad/controller) and set deadzone to 0, in my case the default value was 22%.
