6 years ago80C is not an overly high temperature and certainly shouldn't be shutting off anything.
- Check that your display is connected to your GPU and not your motherboard video output
- Temporarily disable your antivirus/antimalware software
- Install all available Windows Updates
- Perform a clean boot before starting the game: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 or http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

Hello I have the same issue CPU start to over heat temp reaches 100°c after half an hour the game freeze and the desktop turns off.
Intel i710700k
Gigabyte RTX 2070 8GB
16GB RAM.
Assus prime z490-a
Running the game on the HDD.
