please bring back the 2005 edition of need for speed most wanted?!’

can I please have the need for speed most wanted 2005 edition on my Xbox series s please? and thank you!’

  • Hello hbkh56sy7jkg,

As of now, there are no plans for this. The game itself would be an issue to remaster because of the massive licensing issues. I believe we will not be seeing the remaster for a long time ahead.

  • that is a bummer. I can only hope how do I contact them to ask them to put it on Xbox series S?

The licence to need for speed most wanted 05 is owned by EA, tbey are the only ones stopping the game from being available on modern consoles. The "reason" for no remaster or no backwards compatibility is because of financial issues with moding an old game to make the gameplay enjoyable now and criterion are working on battlefield 6. Battlefield 6 is going to release soon and we have no good current race games with active players right now. Remaking most wanted 05 exactly how it was but with better graphics and more to do is exactly what the whole nfs community wants. We've been begging for it for years and it would pay for itself. After unbound we need something really good because that was a massive disappointment, no more cartoon animations ever again please nfs! The amount of attention MW 05 got a couple of years ago when that fake trailer went around says enough. It's time even EA have to partner with another company to do so, we need it.
