I believe EA/Criterion are trying to make the cars in the game as close to their real life counterparts. That being said it is just a known fact that Venom GT is simply better. 

Only place where it loses slightly to the Veyron is acceleration due to it not having electronic devices to help with the traction. 

That being said yes it is the best car to go to, but I personally feel like Venom can be won with many cars. Knowing the map and especially knowing in which direction the race is about to start is more crucial in winning.

    the car is over powerd! When I drive the Bugatti or the Konigsegg and my friend that too, we are about the same speed. he drives the Venom GT is much faster! (Honest) The car will also continue as everyone else and if it is fully tuned to robustness, it also gets difficult to takedown it. Ok, the car is faster than the others I understand in reality, but then it should be fair for simplicity improve the nitro the other cars (including that of the Bugatti and Koenigsegg) Otherwise will not win it you drive much better! 

    and every as ... e drive this car when no limitation is active. that annoys me and many others!
