I completely agree.
Also i would like to see the game extended as i believe the game is to quickly completed.
1) extend the world map ( like the original most wanted have different areas accessible by completing varied events)
2) beef up the customization of the cars i.e neon, scissor doors, open/close hoods ( like need for speed underground 2)
3) extend the car list for the game add more cars like the nissan 370z, the subaru impreza, audi a3 & r8, lambhogini gallardo.
4) add 2 tone paint options and more choice of vinyls i.e full body vinyls not body wraps, flame, tribal, stripes ect
And again like previously stated please put day/night cycles in please its annoying always driving at night and add more weather like snow, sun, hail.
Dunno if any of those sound like good ideas but thats what i think would make a better need for speed to me.
