there's an option to calibrate the screen but im not sure that will fix your problems.

no, there are only image options.

There's a margin scale option but that won't adjust the layout of the HUD. One work around is to use a wider, anamorphic resolution. I'm playing at 2560x1080 (21:9) downscaled on my 16:10 monitor (1920x1200) and that shifts the player list out of the way more. You get black borders along the top and bottom since the dimension ratio isn't the same, but I kind of like it. Gives it a cinematic look.
