Sooo bored...

This game has no end game, all events done, all activities done, all achievements done. There is no end game here short of buying more cars ad grinding races to max them out with the broken side bet system. Can't get involved in police chases since they are their own events and online racing is just flat out broken with the speed list design and no balancing between vehicles. It's pretty much super car or don't even try. All this makes me think of is the E3 reveal and that idiot say and I quote "looks as good as it plays" and "It's a great game". How much money did they pay these people to promote this still broken and lacking game. No wonder they have early access events where the participants have to sign disclosure agreements to not trash talk the game on YouTube channels before the games release. I hope Microsoft buys EA then maybe something good will come from this developer because it has been a long time since we have gotten anything that is actually good.

If microsoft are maybe gonna buy ea, a bug fix or major contrent update for payback are probably not going to happen. I read on internet somewhere yesterday that  the ea directors were selling their ea shares recenty, I dunno how true that is ?.....Anyone who bought payback will be stuck with a broken bug ridden unfinished game, while the directors do a runner with the cash.

Will ea barry be changing his name to microsoft barry now ? lol.

  • What do you Expect out of an Racing Game in terms of long term Gameplay ?

You play the story until you're done, you may do archievements/max your car or improve your time on tracks and then ?

Do online ranked or non ranked, and how you do so or how long depends on how you like  the System if it's good or not.

So besides an Online Freeroam where you could do your own challanges with friends or so what is  there to be played ? Doing online Races over and over again i can't imagine how you should have fun thaat much in the long term if driving the same tracks over and over again doesn't make fun to you.

The only other racing game i played for a long time was burnout paradise, where we often ended up doing 1 thing/race (stunt races) for like 5 hours straight over and over then 1 race then stunt again or so for days weeks etc the same exact thing, because we had fun doing it, if you don't like repeating the same stuff it might be you not the game, or if you're one that likes that much gameplay out of one game you might try mmo's/rpgs ?

Racing games always were short in the story mode.

My favorite time wasters on PC were Burnout Paradise and the original Test Drive Unlimited. In our days, The Crew fills that role with moderate success.

Usually in such games, the only thing that you have to do is to grind cars. I loved TDU, because you could just cruise around and never get bored. Sheer pleasure. TDU 2...yeah, not that much. Also the original TDU would allow you to load your own music playlist and be on the car's radio. While the game had a decent music, nothing beats your personal preferences.
