"The Origin network could not be reached".

Hi,

I've been trying to login to Origin to play NFS: The Run, but Origin gives me the same error message, "The Origin network could not be reached. Please check your network connection and try again" everytime. I've tried the opening up of ports and resetting my modem methods to no resolve. My network connection is strong (consistent full bars) and my laptop is more than capable of running Origin and the game. Any feedback would be appreciated.
