Happened already 2 times in 5 minutes, the first still during a race! =( the second without doing noting in the garage... same situations happens to others? I'm on PC

Only time it happened to me was when the message pops up saying server is going down and to switch, ie. go back to lobby and go back in. Happened while I was racing and lost all control until I hit a on my controller, did it to me in garage as well and I just assumed that is what happened. 2 times in over 260 hrs. played for me. On PC also.
