Most Wanted (2012) stuck in loading screen on start up.
Evidently this is due to a recent update? Can this please be fixed asap? I literally bought the game due to the EA Fall Sale and am now unable to play a game I purchased. Bugs I can deal with obviously but the fact that a game is unplayable due to, what seems like, backend issues is ridiculous.
yep, the update is what caused this - it deleted a bunch of important files. Fortunately, you can redownload the files while you wait for an official update to fix it - I made a Reddit post explaining how to do that.

Most EA games on Steam received updates to use the EA App instead of Origin. This barely affected most games, but Need for Speed Most Wanted also had some important files just completely removed. This causes the game to be forever stuck on a black loading screen when started up.
edit: didn't realize I was on the dutch forum, I guess that makes sense why everything on this page keeps switching between English and Dutch
