My worst fears about NFS became true in this content update. NFS Unbound is getting a Speed Pass (Battle Pass). 😞
I am sick and tired of every game implementing a Battle Pass-like system. -_-
KartRider: Drift has it. Rogue Company has it. The Crew 2 has it. And now NFS Unbound will have it.
I have enough of Battle Passes for my entire lifetime because it just creates FOMO (Fear of Missing Out).
At least with NFS Unbound, the Speed Pass is completely free but with 75 Levels (compared to KartRider: Drift's 40 Levels, The Crew 2's 50 Tiers, and Rogue Company's 35 Tiers (used to be 50 Tiers)).
As there is new content and features coming with this Volume 3 update, this will bring me back to playing NFS Unbound. (I haven't played NFS Unbound since April 2023 lol) And it seems like EA is supporting NFS Unbound a bit longer than previous NFS games when they are hinting another update when the Speed Pass ends on August 16, 2023.
