@wevsky in online. yes. in story the game doesn't give you that option which again I play story first then online. i did play a little bit of online and it was ok. the police even on heat 5 and starter car, are way underpowered.

when i log on next ill look but im pretty sure you still have to upgrade garages in story mode, no reason they would change it

ive just logged back into story mode and the garage upgrade list is still there.

@wevsky me either as i just started playing. still the prologue was a little tougher than I thought it should have been, especially since what happened in it

to be honest it was a while back i played, i assumed you had got past that bit, im not saying earning cash is easy in story mode, dont forget to check every single race event, there are cars to win that do carry over onto online

@wevsky the prologue surprised me because it has been a while since I played any NFS game with beating NFS heat pretty quickly and then walking away but the prologue seemed that it was set to the hard difficulty no matter what you chose and I think its kind of BS you lose everything and have to start over.

it is annoying cash doesnt carry over, but as said win those cars weekly and you have a good starting point for online, and since the first update a while back they actually upped prize money, so its easier to upgrade online now than it was when i first started playing

@wevsky well i just started playing so I wouldn't know for the most part. but being given a starter car and then racing fully upgraded cars in the prologue didn't seem like a very good idea to me. also I probably should have reverted the car back to stock looks when she took it.

im sure it wont take you long to progress in story mode.

@wevsky with the starter car i chose. i think its going to take me a long time to progress as I picked the ford crown vic. so I might spend a lot of time messing with the police and then do races later.

its a bit of a slog winning and getting enough money to upgrade cars/garage.. but in time it can be done, just avoid being bust where possible
