Can't customize online character

When I deleted my save data and created a new save, I was able to customize my character just fine. When I restored my old save, I was once again unable to customize my character.

I initially went to make my character, but decided to do it later and backed out of the menu. And at one point either before or after this, the Lakeshore Online panel switched from showing Travis Scott to the default girl player model without me starting the mode.

Further attempts to make my character since have a resulted in being forced back to the default model.

I'm not too knowledgeable on this sort of thing, but it definitely seems to be something with info cached in the save file either not having enough room for a customizable multiplayer character after proceeding too far with the campaign, or the save cache storing the default female model as an unchangeable hash after backing out of the screen at the start.

The sooner this is fixed the better.. I want my car game dress-up!!!
